Pix 501 can't browse

Hi, for sometime now, my connection to the internet had being fluctuating until it finally stopped today. i have done some trouble shooting and i now realise its from my pix, because when i connect directly to the internet from my pc or other routers, i can browse. What could be the problem. Otherwise how do i get back the original configuration. I have also forgetting my PDM username and password, how do i recover or overwrite it?

Nb the only configuration i did where access lists, and static, which have been working for 3 months now.and i can ping to and from the pix(i can even ping my internet gateway(public ip). we have four public ips, and none can connect to the internet thru the pix.

501 works with internal user license. they are 10, 50 and unlimited.

verify it by using the command "sh ver"
