PIX 515 Logical interface

Can anybody tell me what (if any) implications there are with adding a logical interface to the config of a live PIX ?

I am a bit concerned that any connections currenyl established will be disconnected.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear s.gilbrook,

If you already have trunk with your switch you only may sure that vlan numbers don´t disturb your traffic.

But if you don´t have trunk your communication will go down until you configure the switch an the spanning tree go on.
