I did an upgrade from PIX 5.2.3 to 6.1.4 and when rebooted ethernet2 interface was not recognised. Show Interface does not list the ethernet2 (DMZ)
interface.
I put back the 5.2.3 and show interface displays the ehternet2 interface and everything is fine.
What is the problem I am facing?
I tried 6.2.2 version as well and ethernet2 still does not get recognised.
The Ethernet2 interface is purchased from Cisco.
Thanks.

Do you see any error when you boot up? Something with regard to "ignoring PCI card"?

There is field notice for this:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/770/fn15028.shtml
You need to open a TAC case.
hope this helps,
