Pix 515E and 2 internet providers

Good day All;

Sorry if this is a redundant question but in a week or two we are going to put in a secondary internet

connection.  Is there a way on a pix 515E to have one internet provider be preferred over the other

and if the primary fails then the secondary will take over?  Thank you in advance for  your help!!!

you can that but this is not good solution to make this from pix.

set pix under router, and run ip sla or bgp : P

but sla is easy and quickly solution

so then I would add another interface in my pix and attached that to the secondary internet router

and run BGP between the primary, secondary  and backbone router you are saying?

Yes.. you can use PIX with 2 ISPs (redundant) but IOS required is 7.x and up.  Please refer to the below link.
