I would like to replace my 2 port ethernet module with a 4 port module. Is this just a straight forward hardware install? How do you activate the new ports? We have a ur license. Thank You.

Just power-off the box, remove the old card and slot in the new quad card.

After you power-on the box, you need to activate/key-in the activation key @ license, and reboot the box. You should be able to see the new 4-ports. Active/configure it like your other/previous ethernet ports.

pixfirewall(config)#activation-key

Make sure you backup your config as well.
