PIX 525 and Gig Ethernet?

Hi All,

Just wondering if there are TX based Gig ethernet cards for the 525? Or am i stuck with FX?

Neither FX or TX GigE cards are available for the Pix. There is only an SX interface.

SX is still fiber though right?

well we have a TX based switch i want to plug it into. (3550)

Yes, SX is a fiber connector for Gigabit Ethernet. FX is fiber also but for FastEthernet.
