Problem is, i get that message but i cant see the "Do you wish to erase the passwords? [yn] y

Passwords have been erased. " message. The screen is stopped. How can i recover pix 525 password.

Note:Also i see from the tftp server that "nppix.bin" is sent.

Try to verify/use different the Password Lockout Utility version, as you should get the password erase confrmation at the end of the process.

What's your current version - 6.3/6.2/6.1?

nppix.bin is the utility for 4.3 versions and below. Are you using 4.3 and below.

If not, then you don't have the correct password recovery file.

Can you please confirm what version you are running.

The below are the file names with the associated version.

np70.bin (7.0 release)

np63.bin (6.3 release)

np62.bin (6.2 release)

np61.bin (6.1 release)

np53.bin (5.3 release)

np52.bin (5.2 release)

np51.bin (5.1 release)
