PIX 525 performance problem

I have used PIX525 with failover unit. Traffic passed PIX 525 drops from 1.5M/s to 300k/s. Is it normal ?

If not, please suggest how to troubleshoot and possible cause of problem.

Make sure that Speed/Duplex are the same on the switch. Should be fixed to 100Mb Full Duplex. Differencies between switch and pix could easily lead to performance issues.

If you still have throughput problems, consult Release Notes of your OS release on the cisco web page.

Maybe an os upgrade could fix the problem?
