Can a PIX handle IPX traffic? From DMZ to Inside interface for example. Is there any good documentation on this?
Thanks

You'd have to tunnel it - i.e. you could build a gre tunnel from a router on the dmz interface to a router on the inside, but beyond that......
Here's an example:

Will there be any issues via vpn?

Broad question, but like he said above the pix will not handle ipx traffic. You will need to do a gre tunnel from router to router, which the pix can pass that traffic then. So at the minimum you will need to have 2 routers, one on the dmz and one on the remote side to accomplish this. IPX will not go through an ipsec tunnel, it has to be first encapsulated into a gre packet.
