Currently I use cattools to backup my PIX FWs which quite well via ssh. However the issues I have is, how do I go about backing up the isakmp keys?? basically it shows keys as ******* , even when doing a sh run. How does everyone else do it?
Cheers.

It must be something related to the Bug CSCdr56877
ISAKMP keys no longer display with the show config or write terminal commands. The keys now display as follows:
isakmp key ******** address ip_addr netmask mask

Hey thanks for the reply, had a look thru old post and found that you have to use tftp (write net tftp_ip:file_name) in order to see the isakmp keys. Version 7 of the PIX now supports SCP for the configs. Haven't tested that part out yet.
