Pix Blade Roadmap...

Does anyone knows if PIX Blade will discontinue or be replaced by a new one (similar to IPSEC SPA). We are in the process of investigating for a new project and the hardware is quite old.

Most vendors are invastigating in multicore processors.

This is more of a question for Sales rather than for us tech folk ;-)

I suggest you contact your local Cisco office and discuss this with an account manager or systems engineer.

You may also want to have a look at the ASA5580 appliances as an alternative, they are multicore, multiprocessor and support 10Gb interfaces.
