Try to go to the monitor mode. Hit the 'esc' key when the pix boots.

if you are able to get there, you can use a tftp server to upgrade the code. Try to upgrade to the same code which is there on the pix.

the best way would be to open a TAC case.

Regards,

Sagar

I have the same problem for PIX 525. When I hit the 'esc' key I get the test menue

CISCO SYSTEMS PIX FIREWALL

Embedded BIOS Version 4.3.207 01/02/02 16:12:22.73

Compiled by morlee

256 MB RAM

Testing mode menu:

1. Test floating

2. Test protected mode.

3. Exhaustive Test first 640k.

4. Exhaustive Test high memory.

*. Start all tests (Any key to stop tests).

C. Continue.

I hope we could solve that also

I was able to fix it,

What you need to do is open PIX Firewall Chassis,

Next to Bios Bettery, there is a jumper. Just change that jumper setting and it should start working

Regards

Thanks every one for there reply
