Hi all,

I need an help to set the correct timeout on a Cisco PIX, in fact after a connection and disconnection between two videoconferencing devices, sometimes the TCP connection rest in idle and I cannot connect again. If I clear the xlate (clear the TCP connection) the videoconference run correctly.

I try to downgrade the timeout of udp (1 min.) h323 (1 min.) and half-closed (5 min.) but the issue isn't solved because I've to wait 5 minutes after a re-connection that the tcp connection go down.

Hi marco,

you can try timeout conn 00:01:00.this will set the tcp connection timeout as 1 minute. the connection slot is freed after this time. this is not advisible, because all connections, which are idle for 1 minute is freed. but if it is ur requirement, you can try.

Let us know.. all the best..

Raj
