I migrated my pix config to the ASA config using the migration utility and I thought it was successful until I tried the cutover. It doesn't look like it migrated any of my NAT statements. Is that normal? Am I missing something? Do I have to put them back in manually? Are there any other things it doesn't migrate. Thank you for any help.

Hi Thomas,
It should migrate completely, if you could provide the configuration for both the devices, we acn check and let you know if it did it correctly. From which version of PIX to whihc version of ASA are you upgrading??? What issues did you face??? You would always need to reload all the upstream and downtrean devices to clear the arp cache entries on the devices for the firewall.
Hope this helps
Thanks,

Varun,
It was from 6.35 to 8.21.
How do you want me to present the two config files to you?
Thank you,
Thomas

You can either PM me or attach the zip files on the post, moreover did you reload the devices and were you not able to access the internet???
Thanks,
Varun

Varun,
I will PM the configs to you. I was out of town over the last couple of days.
I did wait until the ARP cache was flushed (few minutes) on the ISP side but I did not reload the core switch on our side.
Thank you,
Thomas
