entering the IPS module installed on my ASA I get the following screen
errorMessage: ct-sensorApp.438 not responding, please check system processes - The connect to the specified Io::ClientPipe failed. name=errUnclassified

Looks like a crash.
Please take a show tech from the device.
I would say either upgrade to latest-greatest or open a TAC case.
