Just tried to install the Firepower based on Firesight 8000-series.
The installation of the device went well and i can SSH into it and access the GUI.
However there are problems access the management center Firesight, the 443 port is open and it gets the certificate but i end up with a white blank screen with URL /login.cgi
What could have gone wrong and is there any solution?

What are you running FireSIGHT Management Center on - a VM?
What image (filename) did you install?

I'd ask the same question - share some specifics so we can provide effective assistance towards providing a resolution.

This was resolved after reinstalling the VM. :) It was a fresh install and all I did was run the networking-configuration script. When I went to login, the login.cgi page whitepaged. You can see the errors in the previously attached image. I believe it missed some provisioning stuff when it was installed the first time.

Thanks for the update.
That's why I always tell customers I'd rather they wait until I get on site to deploy the VM - so anything that gets missed is on me. :)

Hi Marvin,
Any know issues on that? I had our FireSight v5.4 running on ESXi for a while now but suddenly I get the same error, no login prompt, just a blank screen,
Could you please let me know how to fix it?
Many thanks in advance.

Remi,
A TAC case is your best bet to dig into this in real time - it will get your issue resolved more quickly and directly.
The TAC team that handles FirePOWER is great - I've used them several times.

Hi Marvin,
I followed your advise. Luckily I had a valid service contract for FireSight and already working with TAC on the issue.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Remi

Login issues may occur due to database issues. Reinstalling the VM will ofcourse resolve the issue but during reinstallation you will loose the existing configurations.
TAC will assist you with the database issues.

Hi All,
I am also facing the same issue but with Cisco FMC 2000 instead of VM. Has anyone faced similar issues with FMC 2000 instead of VM?
