Problems to update a sensor from 5.0

When i try to install the service pack to a sensor IPS 4250 XL with version 5.0 appears the following:

Eror: Cannot communicate with mainApp (getVersion). Please contact with your administrator.

And some minutes later i lost the communication with it (no pinging request).

Any suggestion?

Are you doing it over the network? Try to connect it direct to your pc/laptop using cross-over cable.

Also, not necessary to configure gateway as both devices are connected directly without any L3 device in between.
