Re-addding FirePOWER module to newly addressed FMC

We had to change the IP of our FMC. There were FirePower modules registered to the old IP.

Is it just a case of logging back into them and adding the configure manager add x.x.x.x password commands again and then adding device to the FMC?? Do I need to delete any residual config from the module?

Hello, 

yes, you need to login into FirePOWER module CLI. You need to use configure manager delete first, and then use configure manager add with new IP-address of FMC.

Since the configuration of all Policies helds on the FMC, you don't need to delete anything from the module except the old manager's IP-address (configure manager delete).
