Recovering the up-to-date configuration from a Firepower to a new FMC

Hi there,

Our FMC running under KVM crashed  and we don't have an up-to-date backup of the FMC. We managed to restore the FMC from an "old" backup and some objects/rules are missing in the FMC.

I wonder if there is a procedure to follow to transfer the up-to-date state of objects/rules from the FTD to our "new" FMC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately that's not possible. "show running-config" might give you some clues, but the objects are defined in a non-human readable database.

Thanks for the answer. So if I get it, the only solution right now is to restart from a fresh FMC install and redeclare the FTD, thus the FMC will get the objects/rules in a up-to-date state?
