Registering 4110 FTD on FMC via CLI

Hello All,

I have FTD on 4110 Chassis and I want to know how can I register it to an existing FireSight via CLI.

There is no officially supported way to do this using CLI, however you can use the FMC REST API to register a device to FMC.

I thinks that there are some commands to do so. I already have two FTDs and I registered one of them with the help of Cisco TAC engineer via CLI but unfortunately I forgot to log the session.

There is probably a script on FMC to accomplish this, but it is not a documented or recommended procedure.

Why not leverage the official API to register a new device?
