Reregister FMCv

I have an issue with my FMCv and the SMLM. I had to migrate the MFC to a new hypervisor and now I have a message "Smart Licensing ID certificate renewal failure. Please check the connection". TAC indicated I need to deregister/reregister my FMCv. He sent me instructions on how to do this but they are not complete. The instructions are just on how to deregister the FMCv. This is a production system and can't afford any issues. Does anyone have complete instructions on how to do this properly.

It would be similar to a RMA case:

If the FMC is returned, de-register the FMC from Cisco Smart Software Manager (CSSM) using the steps in section FMC Smart License De-Registration > Remove Registration from SSM Side and then re-register the FMC with CSSM using the steps in section FMC Smart License Registration.

Thanks. I was worried about what would happen between the de-registration and the registration. I was able to do this last night without issue.
