Restore ASA 5520 config to ASA 5510

Hello,

I have several 5510 and one 5520 and I would like to know if it's possible to restore ASA 5520 config to ASA 5510?

If it's possible, i will only need to have one 5510 in spare.

After research on this forum, the reverse is possible (5510 to 5520)

Hi François,

Yes, you should be able to restore the 5520 config to the 5510. The majority of the syntax is identical, but keep in mind that you may need to change the physical interface sections (i.e. Ethernet0/0 vs. GigabitEthernet0/0).
