I need to route traffic from a PIX to 2 routers, so the traffic is balanced on two path. I think to use two static routes with same metric and different next-hop (2 routers).
Have you any idea if this configuration works? Do you already configured it?
I know that it works on routers in round-robin manner, does it work in this manner also in PIX?

No, you can not add two static routes with same metric and different net-hop
( 2 routers) on a PIX.
PIX will not accept that command. Because PIX will not support load balancing routes.
This is one difference between PIX and router.

You can configure HSRP on the outside routers and point the default route to the Virtual IP address. Ofcourse, that will not give you load balancing, but atleast redundancy.
