RPC+NAT Support thru PIX ?

Hello all,

Just wondering if the same type of support that exists for fixing up FTP when NAT is used also is available for RPC traffic ?

IE a management station is trying to access a station via RPC, but the destination IP is a NAT..

I'd be surprised it can be done, but never know!

Thanks

I'm assuming Windows RPC TCP/135?

RPC works fine through NAT on the Pix. However, if the connection is from a low to high interface and other ports are negotiated (ie Outlook) then you'll need the [established] command to negotiate those as well. There is no fixup functionality for negotiating other ports like there is for FTP.
