Ruuning ASDM on Vista

I am not able to run ASDM V6.1.3 on a Vista PC. It works fine on a XP PC.

Can anyone tell me what s/w version is required on ASA device as well as any requirement on Vista.

I am running 6.1(5) with 8.04 on Vista.

What java code are you running?

Also there was a bug with Vista machine running update 11, please check if

uninstalling update 10 and going back to update 7 resolve this issue.

You can also try out the following to see if it helps

a. Clear Browser Cache and restart ASDM.

b. Verify Vista Firewall is not blocking any related traffic.

c. try adding ASA's IP in Trusted list on browser

d. Look at ASDM logs at C:/Users//.asdm/log

Thanks for your reply.But I think my problem is my ASA running version 5.X , I think it will not support ASDM V.6 or later. So it may need an upgrade to V.8.
