SA540 end of life

Hi,

I've been trying to make sense of the End of Life policies and notifications for the SA540 device. The "Last date of support: HW" is April 30th 2016. Does this mean that firmware upgrades to address security issues will be available until that date or have firmware upgrades already been stopped?

Thanks in advance,

Richard.

Regardless of the EOS/EOL announcement, IMO the practical EOL has already happened. Just look when the last firmware-update was released (Dec 2012) and then think about what happened in the security-space since then. For example all the SSL/TLE-problems of the last years.

It's time to replace these units.

Thanks, I'm sure you are right. Looks like we will have to dig out the credit card!
