SAN Cert for ASA

Hi Guys,

I am going to import my SAN cert together with its cert-chain. I am following the steps from my source over the internet and it stated there that I need to combine the root, intermediate, server cert, and the key into a PKCS12 file before importing it to ASA.

My question now is, do I still need to separately import the root and intermediate certs into the ASA first before importing the PKCS12 file?

Thank you

@fatalXerror no you don't need to import the root and intermediate certificates to the ASA separately.

They need to be imported into the PKCS12 file along with the signed certificate and key. You can do all of this using openssl. You then import the PKCS12 file into the ASA.
