Just lately I Have noticed that this process is always on the list of cpu hog. Do you know what uses this process?  Maxhog, numhog and lasthog, do you have any info on this?

thanks.

Hi,

As Marius said these are https related processes.

It is used for user authentication, WebVPN port forwarding etc.

MAXHOG: it is nothing but the maximum recorded hog in millisecond.

NUMHOG: number of hogs

LASTHOG: it gives th duration of the last recorded hog in millisecond.

Thanks,
