signatures update fails

Hello,

I have configured username and password for automatic updates of signatures,suppose if it fail in which location i can see the logs for what reason it has failed.

Which model of IPS is this?

I assume that the IPS management interface is connected to your network, and has connectivity to the Internet? and there is direct access to the Internet to perform the signature update?

Also, just confirming that you also have the IPS Subscription license installed on your IPS, so signature updates can be performed.

You can check the logs within the "show tech" output.
