Hi all,

I my trying to do a telnet but Im always getting timeout. when I check in the pix 515 i see this :

TCP inside 10.100.1.30:55139 inside 142.100.64.11:23, idle 0:00:01, bytes 0, flags SaAB

And I have the same issue with http. Ping works with no proble.

Thanks all.

Hi,

This flag shows that the TCP Handshake is not yet complete.

Can you share the relevant configuration from the PIX.

Thanks and Regards,

your session state is not completing .  ping is icmp and does not have a complete 3 way handshake like tcp protocol. (also if timeout happens this means that whole tcp protocol 23 process is not completing within a protocol defined time frame )

test your ping with fix up icmp as well and let us know .
