Unable to ping PC directly connected to ASA

Hi all,

i have PC  connected to inside interface of ASA.

it is direct connection to ASA.

From ASA  i can not ping PC  is this default behaviour?

Is there something i can do to make this ping work?

Hello Mahesh,

Check the ARP table of the ASA

show arp

Do you see the mac address of the computer ( to get it do a ipconfig /all)

Also do you have firewall enabled on the PC, if yes  that is the issue Just disable it.
