Unable to ping to gateway Cisco FTD subinterface

Trying to ping the gateway on FTD from a DMZ vm on that network but unable to. Tried pinging from FTD to the vm IP and still nothing.

I configured ICMP settings (under FMC > Platform settings > ICMP) to permit all ipv4 between the outside and DMZ zone.

What all need to be configured to enable pinging to and from FTD on the FMC?

Do I understand that you are trying to ping the ASA DMZ interface address from the new VM in the DMZ?

Often the problem with this is in the ESXi vSwitch side. Make sure your host's interface is assigned to the correct ESXi server interface  and VLAN and that interface is cabled properly to the DMZ switch VLAN.
