Upgrading ASA 5510

Hi All,

I just want to upgrade the ASA version on 5510 from 8.0(4) to 8.2(5)46. I know it might be straight forward, but I need to confim:

  • The current free memory percentage is 43%. Will it be ok?
  • Will the VPN clients work with new version?
  • In case for - any reason - this new version doesn't work properly, how can I restore back the old one?
  • Also, I want to upgrade the license (currently base license) after this upgarde. Is this fine or do I need to consider anything?

Your help is really appreciated

Thanks in advance,

Omar
