Upgrading Cisco ASA 5505

I have a very basic question. We have a Cisco ASA 5505 in our personal office. It limits the bandwidth to only 100 Mbps. Our internet is 300 Mbps so we're not getting the full functionality of our internet. We want to upgrade the 5505, but not sure what to upgrade it to. I spoke to Cisco chat, and they said I would upgrade to a firepower series, but they didn't provide me with a model number and said they can't help me because I wasn't a business. I just want anything that can handle 300 Mbps and does the job of the 5505. We also have a cisco DPQ3925 which I think is the wifi modem.

Also, is it just a matter of unhooking the old 5505 and hooking up the new firepower series (whatever model I end up buying) and it would work perfectly fine? Or is there more complicated networking type things that need to be done in order to get the new firewall to work properly that should be handled by an IT professional?

Thanks.

Firepower 1010 would be the suitable replacement. It does require some basic setup which, as long as you are only using the ASA 5505 in a basic manner, is not hard to do but does require some knowledge of networking and security.

Some people with very basic requirements prefer to use the Cisco Meraki series. They are even easier to setup. Something like the MX67 would meet your requirements.
