Hi allz...
I have an application which retrives data from a couple of servers on the internet. It needs some ports to do this such as 2000,2001,2002.
And I want that users who use this application in the LAN never surf on the net? They need only one web site to connect and to run this application.
Here is what i did for this. I created an access-list which permits these users to connect to this web site. In the ACL, I use the IP address of Web Site as Destination IP. So now it works. But what i have to do whenever they change their ip address is to change ACL.
Can i create an URL filter with the site name which permits users to connect and other sites are not allowes? If so, how can i configure it?
Thanks in advanced...
Ahmet

Are you talking about using a websense or smartfilter application to control access?
