I have a internet line connected to my PIX firewall 506E.how can i know the VPN traffic goin thru the firewall.when i put a analyzer and monitor the traffice even the VPN traffic is also show as web traffic.Is there any way to the VPN traffic (traffic which is generated when connectrd thru a cisco VPN client or windows VPN client).
Pls help...

It is not possible to break down the VPN traffic for lets say protocol statistics because the analyzer only read what it can read .. VPN traffic is encrypted and hence the analyzer only can give you a status of the throughput but is can't tell whether the traffic is TCP , UDP, etc.

but will it show as VPN traffic even if it doesnt show TCP or UDP traffic.I am not even getting as VPN traffic,it is showing web traffic.I just want to have a fair idea of how much bandwidth does VPN client takes.
