Here is a freebie from the live Ask The Expert session "DNA Platform Features and Capabilities." This is a sample, self-contained, and ultra simple Python 2.7 script that will allow you to retrieve the information that DNA Center is using to manage a specific network device by specifying the IP address of that device.
This script is definitely not meant to demonstrate Python scripting best practices or the most elegant solution to a problem. This is simply meant for those starting out with Python and with DNA Center Platform API's, and the hope is that this will spark some ideas for how regular network engineers can begin using Intent API's on a daily basis to simplify their most common tasks.
