Password Recovery for cisco cat 2960, 3550, 3560 and 3750 switches

Step 1:  Power OFF and Power ON the device

Step 2:  Hold mode button till u reach switch prompt

Step 3:  Once you reach switch mode, Give following commands

switch: flash_init

switch: load_helper

Step 4:  Give switch: dir flash: command to check the config.text file

<config.text file contains the password>

Step 5:   Rename the config.text file to some other name like config.old

Step 6:   Enter command 'boot' and switch starts booting

Step 7:   After booting, set your new password from config mode.
