snmp traps filtering (nso alarms)

Hi Team,

There is a customer requirement where they want to filter the SNMP traps received generated from NSO. They want to see traps only from alarms generated from particular devices on NSO. Is there a way to implement this through NSO? They are using OMI SNMP server. Appreciate any inputs.

This is how snmp target is configured as of now:

snmp target monitor1

ip       127.0.0.1

udp-port 8162 <---- OMI agent listening here

tag      [ monitor ]

timeout  1500

retries  3

v2c sec-name public

!

snmp community public

sec-name public

We found out with help from BU, that since customer could not remove those unwanted devices from NSO, they can southbound lock the devices and that will suppress the alarms as well.
