Access to Cisco Switch interface while connecting Ethernet cable

Hi all,

I am new user of using Cisco Catalyst 2960.

I have looked through multiple guidance of accessing Cisco Switch interface by connecting Ethernet cable or RJ45-USB to laptop, but it failed. The below is the error that I noticed.

Can someone enlighten me? Need detailed step-by-step of how to accessing CLI. Thank you.

the requirement not clear, are you trying to connect switch using console cable ?

or you have Laptop with USB to Ethernet cable and connecting to Switch Ethernet port.

As mentioned looks like you have Drivers issue nothing to do with the switch.
