Cannot download software from 2504

Good Afternoon

One of our customer is currently chasing us as he cannot download image for WLC 2504.

We definitely know that 2504 is end of life since early of 2023, but he would like being able to retrieve software by itself.

Here is the S/N associated : PSZ17521DR9

We don't request any support, just the ability to download from the customer's account :

reach out to tac@cisco.com and ask them for support. 

If you still got a valid service contract you should be able to get it from them.

1.  Go to the Cisco Download portal and look for the AireOS firmware you want to download. 
2.  Take down the complete filename. 
3.  Take down the web link where the firmware is located. 
4.  Read this:  Cisco Wireless LAN Controller AireOS Software FIPS Mode Denial of Service Vulnerability
5.  Scroll down to the Customers Without Service Contracts section and read that section very carefully. 
6.  Send an e-mail to TAC.
7.  Provide TAC the following information: 

• Serial Number of the WLC
• Filename (Step 2)
• Web link (Step 3)
• Security Bulletin (Step 4)
