Hello. I need to order two GLC-SX-MM Compatible SFP Module's that are compatible with 9200L and 2960X switches.

One of the two will  connect to a Cisco 2960X 24 port PoE switch the other will connected to a 9200L PoE 48 port switch.

Can someone link me one that will suffice for this connection? The distance is between 100 and 300 ft.

You can use the Cisco Optics-to-Device Compatability Matrix page to verify if the SFPs you plan to use work with the intended device  -- https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/

Just search for the both switches you want to use, and then you can use the filters in the left-hand navigation to be more specific about the results.

And you'll have information about the support, max reach, minimum software versions etc.

As an example using the WS-C2960X-48TS-LL and C9200L-24P-4X models:

That should work in terms of SFP concern using Multimode cable.

C9200L are you using uplink modules - if the link not coming up use no speed negotiation to work.

The distance is between 100 and 300 ft.

This again depends on the cable used - OM2 / OM3 / OM4 ?

check the matrix table :

I do not know the cable type. Any way to find out?

In best practice, when the cable layed, they do testing, you should have test results and what cable used.

you can only see fibre patch lead color where you patching with blue or different color, but inner lay cable only vendor can tell you.

But before going that route, just connect and check if that working or not. (most cases should work).

The builders who installed it are still working at the site I think I could possibly ask them as well.
