Different model APs presenting single wireless SSID

I have just bought a Cisco Business 140AC Access Point to extend the wireless signal in my home which already has three WAP321 devices.

The 140AC states it has Mesh capability, is this the same as the cluster capability that the 321 devices are in? I cannot add the 140AC to the cluster through the 321 devices nor the 321 devices to the mesh through the 140AC device.

I have set the new device up with the same SSID and set all the devices as trusted on 321 devices. Is this enough for seamless handover between the rooms in my home?

All devices on same network with static IPs using same router for DHCP range to end user devices.

you can cluster same models, not that you can do different models

But one of AP can join with another AP if that support is available.
