Can stack wise power cables provide data as well as power. I ask because I have an issue. With a client. The client has only StackWise power cables, I am not using any xps. After installing the power cables in the back of the switches I see all my switches power up. This is correct, I am using power stacking cables. However no stack master is elected. The switch advises that the ports are down and it elects itself as master of its own stack. I do not have data stack cables. Should I be able to use only power stacking cables for both data and power or do I need data stack cables as well

STack data cable and power cable are 2 different they have different working nature.
If you want to build stack ring for stacking then you need to connect stack Data cables
If you like to provide redundant power to other switches, then you need to use stack power cables to connect.

StackWise or "stacking" cable is exclusively for data.
Power stacking cable is for power.
