Hi,
Hopefully a fairly straightforward requesy.... Is it possible to block access to the Microsoft App Store from a Windows 10 device - with it's DNS servers aet to the Open DNS servers, using OpenDNS

You add www.microsoft.com to your “always block” list.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply - I was hoping for a bit more of a granular way of achieving the blocking - since to block all of microsoft would, amongst other thing potentially stop updates coming to the device. It is just the store i'm looking to deny access to.

I do not think that updates and such will be affected, because they don't make use of this www subdomain. But you can't be any more granular with a DNS service like OpenDNS. DNS knows only about domain names, nothing about URLs.
