how can i create a CNAME record for www.google.com that points to forcesafesearch.google.com.

You need to run an own DNS server in your LAN where you configure this CNAME record, depending on the user manual coming with this DNS server software.  This has nothing to do with OpenDNS and will not be described here.

Describe for what?  How to set up an own internal DNS server?  As I said, this should be described in the documentation coming with the DNS server software or in a support forum for this DNS server software.

Beside this, the "describe" should apparently come from Google, because this SafeSearch thing with a CNAME is Google's solution, right?  Google's article is linked from the OpenDNS article I linked to.

And if you read Google's article, you will see "This option requires technical expertise".  If you don't have this, then you're out of luck, I think.
