If not, are you releasing a newer version that supports ipv6 soon?

"Does OpenDNS Updater v2.2.1 support ipv6?"

This is the wrong question.  Because OpenDNS does not support the dashboard settings for DNS queries raised over IPv6 yet, it doesn't matter if the Updater supports IPv6 or not.

And no, I'm not releasing anything, because I'm a user like you, also waiting for IPv6 support.

What I meant was:

Does OpenDNS Updater v2.2.1 support the updating of the user's ipv6 IP address (it seems to only update the user's ipv4 IP address)?

If not, are you (OpenDNS developers) releasing a newer version that does that?

Again:

  • It doesn't matter if the Updater supports updating of IPv6 addresses, because your dashboard doesn't support it yet.  But so then, no, the Updater doesn't support IPv6 address updates, for exactly this reason.  There is nothing to kept updated yet at the dashboard and your settings.  Even not in the Enterprise version.  IPv6 must first be supported at the server side before it makes any sense on the (Updater) client side, right?
  • And again, I will not release a new version, because I'm a user like you.  And I do not know the plans of OpenDNS for this matter.  If you want to contact OpenDNS because of this, you must do so.  They rarely respond here in the forums.
