OpenDNS works only using LAN

HI. I just set OpenDNS on my router (Asus N55U firmware version 3.0.0.4.376_2736 (Annex A)) and as long as it is connected with my pc via lan it works perfectly but when i switch to wireless there is no more OpenDNS. I tried resetting the router and starting all over again but it didn't worked, also tried restating my pc several times but there were no changes.

To configure my router i followed this guide (https://support.opendns.com/entries/38499760-Configuration-for-ASUS-RT-AC68U         ) as the interface of the router in the guide is similiar to mine.

When you say your PC is connected via LAN do you mean it is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable? When you say switch to wireless do you mean using a WiFi connection to the same router?

 

Assuming that you can answere both of those questions with a yes, please provide full text outputs of the command "ipconfig /all" when your PC is connected "via lan" and again when it is connected via wireless. You could paste the results directly into the comment windows here, or share a screen with the "attach file" button below the comment window (screenshots shared via a file sharing service might be blocked with the OpenDNS settings that some of the people reading and trying to help you here might be using).

Yes, i meant that openDNS works only when i connect my PC to internet using the ethernet cable. When i try to connect it using WiFi it doesn't.

The problem is that you have Google DNS configured for your WLAN connection.  You'll want to set it to obtain DNS server addresses automatically via DHCP from the router, same as for your ethernet connection.
