Maybe this will help someone. I installed Windows 10 Prof Retail in my desktop computer and reinstalled my favorite software/apps. Even though my router was set to OpenDNS, I could not pass the tests. Also, could not get my ISP's IP when using a service to give me my current IP address. My other major problem was webpages were not refreshing on websites that I uploaded new pages too so could not view them right away. It appeared my system was boughed down with to many proxy DNS, that also had cache, so to many caches too! To fix the problem I did this with two main softwares I use: -------Avast Internet Security (update May 2016), open the program and click on Settings (Gear icon)>>Active Protection>>Turn OFF Secure DNS.-----Opera browser Windows PC version 37.0, open the program, open Menu>>Settings>>Browser>>Network>>check the box for "Use proxy for local servers". Also Important (or half the websites you want to see will not load in this Opera browser): Menu>>Uncheck Opera Turbo. -----Also check any other browsers you like to use and make sure they are not using a proxy DNS server. That can be done the easier way if you know your ISP's IP number (get from their website or support). Open the browser you want to check, go to Google or other favorite search engine. Type in "my IP", and pick a site to open to get the IP your browser is using. If the IP is that of your ISP service, then good, register your ISP IP with OpenDNS as a part of your network. If not, check your browser settings to try to turn off a proxy DNS server. -----When done, reboot your computer. Go to the OpenDNS test page and if all is well, hopefully you will pass the tests there: https://support.opendns.com/entries/25897009-How-to-Test-for-Successful-OpenDNS-Configuration-
