Parental Control Not working at all

The parental control is not working with netgear R8000 rounter  and netgear Jenie.  When I directly login to opendns.com and select my network and set to moderate or high, it blocks the adults sites.

But if I set up the basic settings to moderate in Jenie or  or at the site https://netgear.opendns.com   these sites will not be blocked at all.  Netgear must help me

"When I directly login to opendns.com and select my network"

Is this here?  https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/
Delete the network from there!  This does not work with LPC.  Your dashboard is only at https://netgear.opendns.com/

"Netgear must help me"

Here is not Netgear, but OpenDNS.  You'll want to refer to Netgear support.
Strictly follow the instructions at http://kb.netgear.com/25687/ for LPC.

I deleted  the network as you suggested. Now I have set up only at https://netgear.opendns.com/  and Netgear Genie.

I setup the https://netgear.opendns.com  basic as Low  and trying to set each device different  through Genie . I set up my main PC to High and after 5 minutes  tried to access a porn site and i can access. Nothing is blocked. That means it is not working at all

Or it means that you still do not have things configured correctly, or there are other issues at play here.

Is the porn site one you had accessed beforehand? If so, it might very well be in your caches and you need to flush those. https://support.opendns.com/entries/26336865

Is the porn site one that is categorized as such in the OpenDNS system? If it's not, OpenDNS cannot block it by category. https://community.opendns.com/domaintagging/ and check the domain in the upper right corner of the page

What happens when you visit http://welcome.opendns.com ?

Thank you for your reply. I flushed the cashes , and tried again. it is behaving same.  My base setting at https://netgear.opendns.com  is low. I changed this to moderate and high.  No effect.   I changed this to low and set each device at Genie to high , No effect. ( meaning any pornsites can be accessed ). if I go to http://welcome.opendns.com it says your internet is safer, smarter and faster. I checked the  InternetBadGuys.com. , the site is blocked . I checked the site pornhub.com and it says tagged.

However if I go  https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ and select my network, and set the level to moderate or high all these pornsites are blocked.

But i wanted the network in low level and  my devices set the level separately.

Again, you must delete any network at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/
Or you must disable LPC and use OpenDNS Home instead.

Also, not all Netgear router models are eligible to configure content filtering by device.  Your best bet is to refer to Netgear support and to also raise a support ticket with OpenDNS.  We other users don't have many ways to help with such a specific problem.

I have no network at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/.  It is deleted .  My model is Nighthawk X6 R8000. it shows the feature at Network map section in the Genie application. From the device details I can select the option such as low, Moderate, High etc for each device. But it it is not working at all.  Also I noticed that eventhough I set the security level for each device, when that device turn off and turn on the settings go back to default router level.

Thanks

George
